As you requested over the telephone I am enclosing a copy of the cipher telegram referred to in para two of my letter of 30th November, 1948. The number of this telegram is 0121 and not 6121 as previously mentioned and the relevant paragraph is under Item eight.

I regret there has been some delay but we had to obtain the telegram from another file which was not held by this branch of the War Office.

I am sending a copy of my letter of even reference of 30th November referred to above, and a copy of the cipher telegram to Coates (Foreign Office) and Wass (Treasury).
